Booking terms and conditions

With your payment to Domaine Les Pins, you confirm that you agree to the conditions below.

1. Booking
You can make a reservation via the website. This reservation is only final after receipt of 50% of the total rent within eight days of the date of reservation. The remainder of the rent plus the deposit and tourist tax must be paid six weeks before the arrival date. If you book within six weeks of the arrival date, the total rent must be paid immediately. 1.3 The terms of cancellation (item 1.1) will apply to the amounts already paid in advance, and will not be reimbursed.

2: Cancel
As unfortunate as it may be, the planned trip to France may not be able to proceed due to unforeseen circumstances. We therefore advise you to take out proper cancellation insurance. This prevents unexpected costs at a time when it is already annoying enough that your stay with us does not take place.
- The cancellation of a reservation must be made in writing and dated. Domaine les Pins will send a cancellation confirmation upon receipt.
2.2 For cancellations up to 6 weeks before the date of arrival, 50% of the total amount will be charged.
- In case of cancellation within six weeks before the start of the rental period, the full rental fee is due.

3. Liability of the tenant and deposit
- During the stay in the holiday home of Domaine les Pins, the tenant is fully liable for the rented house, the furnishings and all items that belong to the rented property. Damage caused by your actions and/or by your travel companions / guests must be fully compensated by you to the landlord.
- The deposit is €150 per gîte. You must pay this at the same time as the remainder of the rent. The amount will be refunded within two weeks of your departure. For security reasons, you will receive the deposit back on the same account number from which we received it. With possible deduction of unforeseen costs such as damage to goods or furniture.
- It is not allowed to use a mobile air conditioner without consultation.

4. Accommodations tax
The tourist tax from the age of 18 is €1.10 or €1.35 respectively for a 3* or 4* gîte. The tax is determined by the Conseil Général de la Dordogne and the Office de Tourisme. We have to pay this tax in full to the local tax office.

5. Liability
Domaine les Pins cannot accept any liability for loss, theft, damage or injury of any kind caused to or by tenants of the gîtes.

6. Maximum occupancy and guests
- You must respect the number of people in the gîte, such as on the rental agreement.
- Visits are only possible in consultation.

7. Arrival
The rental period starts on the day of arrival after 4 pm. You have paid for your accommodation including: bed linen, linen (excluding bath towels), electricity, gas for cooking, water and internet. If necessary, children's items such as crib, high chair and stroller are available free of charge. Request to return it clean otherwise we are unfortunately forced to charge an extra cleaning fee for this.
The gîtes are both smoke and pet-free.
The accommodation will be delivered clean to you.

8. Departure
The end date of the rental is stated on your confirmation. On this end day, you must have left your accommodation before 9:00 am. Upon departure, you must deliver the accommodation wipe-clean (sweep, tidy, put back furniture, empty dishwasher, waste, glass, plastic in the designated containers) and collect the bedding in the laundry basket upon departure. In case of improper use or if you do not leave the rented accommodation properly, additional cleaning or repair costs may be charged.
